Ubidrop is coming to Windows

One of the most frequently asked questions I have been receiving about Ubidrop is “When is Ubidrop coming to Windows?”. There is clear demand about this and I am currently working hard to be able to support the Windows platform.

I am happy to say that the first file sent to and from a Windows PC was sent a few days ago! There are still a few things to work out but things are looking positive so far!

My plan is to give the Windows versions to beta testers and then distribute it officially to everyone. There is no specific date or deadline towards when it is released other than “when it is done”.

Will Ubidrop require a license on Windows?

Yes. Similar to the Mac OS app, you will be able to try out the Windows app for 7 days. After the trial is over, you will need to purchase a license to continue using Ubidrop on your Windows PC.

Are Mac licenses different to Windows licenses?

No. Once you purchase any Ubidrop license or license bundles, you will be able to activate it either on a Mac or a Windows machine.

Can I purchase a license during this Black Friday and use it when the Windows version becomes available?

Yes. You can currently purchase a license or license bundle for 50% off until this Friday. Once the Windows version becomes available, you will be able to activate the license on your Windows computer(s).
